The members of the DFG-funded Research Unit FOR2625 – Mechanisms of Lysosomal Homeostasis again invite scientists from all over the world to join our International FOR2625 Symposium on LYSOSOMES & AUTOPHAGY rescheduled to April 29 – 30, 2021 in Berlin, Germany.
Originally scheduled in June 2020 our FOR2625 symposium had to be cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak as most scientifc meetings worldwide. We have now rescheduled our symposium to spring 2021, being optimistic that daily and scientific life will come back to normal within the upcoming months and that scientific meetings will be allowed to take place again.
Most of the speakers who confirmed their participation in our two-day program in June 2020 have reconfirmed their attendance next year. Moreover, we could win additional excellent scientists as speakers, so that we are again very excited to share an unique meeting with you, learning and discussing about the newest findings on the molecular machinery of the endo-lysosomal system and autophagy. Again, our symposium offers a great opportunity for young and more advanced researchers to meet internationally renowned experts and discuss their projects during scientific sessions as well as during social events.
As originally planned the symposium will take place at the Max Delbrück Communications Center (MDC.C), one of the most modern congress centers in Berlin. The MDC.C is located in the North-East of Berlin on the Campus Berlin-Buch, the largest Biotech Campus in Berlin, and is well connected with the public transportation system.
Registration will open on November 16, 2020. The symposium is limited to 160 participants.
We are very much looking forward to finally welcoming you in Berlin in 2021!
